There is a rhyme that according to this podcast people say while jumping rope, though I don't remember hearing it. Maybe because I didn't jump rope. Here is the rhyme: Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks. When she saw what she had done she gave her father forty-one. This podcast was about how this rhyme was not accurate and Lizzie Borden was acquitted. They never found who did the murders. If Lizzy Borden was involved she would have needed a co-conspirator. We don't really know who did it.
